and (according to one little fellow)....tractor.
Spent the day in Kindy - "C" is the letter for the week - their teacher asked me to do some colourful art to hang up around the room. I decided to do some directed drawing with them using oil pastels so we could try blending (they don't follow directions real well - hence the hand - which went up -I don't know how many times - to say 'stop' and 'wait'). You can see how I was by the end of the day :)
One more thing..... thank you so much for all your wonderful comments and favs for "Light Through the Raindrops" - I spotted it on the PP - a huge hug to you all - you are awesome!
@taffy@irishmamacita10 thank you for sharing your thoughts - I love reading them - I do love drawing with the little ones - the outcomes are always so diverse lol
@kathyladley hahaha thanks Kathy - most of them are happy to see me when I am on their class for the day - I do a lot of art and talk a lot about animals - there are a few not so keen lol
@paul2782 - ahhhhh Cockney rhyming slang - I know 'plates of meat' and 'Brass Tacks' - I'm going to used it from now on - I like it? - my initial thought was that it meant I'd had a bit of a tipple - hahahahaha - not during school time - although I felt like it :)
I can understand your frustration with infants having been a teacher myself. This made me smile. I used to love the pinning up of the art work and then enjoying the wonderful creations all week. Love this. fave.
As a teacher and a mother of a three year old, this one is near and dear to my heart! I completely empathize! Love the concept and the artwork...everything about it actually! Fav!
@cjainmd thank you so much :)
