As soon as I saw this bursting bud in the garden I thought of Miss Sam @gigiflower - in colour of course - but I know she is dabbling in b&w - I could not decide which I liked best but I think it is this one.
I will post the colour version as well forthwith LOL
Annie, this just jumped out at me! I think it could actually be a great addition to the blured techinque challenge (technique36 is the tag). So otherworldly!
Well, well, well - this is FABULOUS too!! My B&W genes are getting all very excited when I see this! The colour of course is my favourite (just)......but this is very, very nice too! Ooooohh Ms Annie you are SO clever :) xx
Some how I think this has an edge over the colour version ! instead of admiring the colour the expectation and drama of the bursting open of the flower head is more profound !
@gigiflower I see I did not thank you for your most kind and generous comment - I would have meant to but was obviously sidetracked in some way - thank you thank you muchly
thanks guys - the b&w does have drama
@beryl yes that is it Beryl - the colours distract from the impending bloom
@sarahlh @amyamoeba thank you so much Sarah and Amy
@timandelke I cannot completely decide lol
@golftragic @derekvickers thank you both so much for the lovely favs
