the lady and her pantry

This month in my main album I am doing close-up shots.
It was a bit windy and bright so a I struggled to get the best image - but I liked the web and her legs....and her food supply!

Glad to know the scale of your little friend! I do watch them from afar, but no photographs for me, thanks!

@annied She is small because she is probably a baby. When she grows up she will probably be bigger than your head!!! LOL

@annied @gigiflower I was fascinated by this and Mr Google told me that the Leaf Curling Spider was a common Australian species - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phonognatha_graeffei - thanks for the education.

@annied @vignouse Or at least we aim to amuse ourselves. If others are amused by our silliness then that is an added bonus ;)

Beautiful, and I love leaf spiders. They are so innovative and as Australian as our Koalas and kangaroos

Love the title! And also happy she's little. I know grown men who throw conniption fits when they see a spider, I should tell them to get on 365, ha!

Great detail on the web especially in tricky conditions 👍

It's very arty looking -- yet we can clearly tell what it is an image of -- wind always makes it more challenging.
