Locomotive 1033 has heritage significance a a good and rare example of a late Victorian era suburban tank engine that assisted with the development and expansion of the Sydney suburban transit system. It is an attractive small engine produced in England in the late 19th century with a polished brass dome shade, tall chimney and large wheels.
