A week of street shots from my trip to the city will follow - for the most part the rain came down - my shots are from the hip - as I stood or wandered I snapped unseen - I used my 18-270mm for most of the day but later swapped to the wide angle 28mm.
This was taken with the former.
I crop and faff - will let you know if I don't :)
@darylo from the hip is holding the camera at waist level and shooting without looking through view finder - a good way to get street shots if you are a bit nervous about taking street images - i like the angles and PoVs you can get - sometimes I just walk along and click away - other times I stand still and watch and click. My camera is more at diaphragm level as I just hang it around my neck and shoot from there.
@3rdxoff ha ha thanks AC - I like the rain too but not when I have my camera - that is why I was doing the camera round my neck clicking away type shots today as I could hold the brollie at the same time
Like this candid view... If you want to make this easier Annie, get yourself a camera with WiFi and then you leave the camera round your neck, on a table, wherever and see and control everything through your 'phone. Sneaky or what?
As for me, NO umbrella... I like the rain.
