Carcoar is a true historic gem. Located just off the Mid Western Highway it is nestled in a small green valley on either side of the Belubula River. The settlement developed along Belubula Street which descends from St Paul's Church and winds its way through the town. Not surprisingly the town has been classified by the National Trust because of its large number of beautifully preserved 19th-century buildings.
