17.09 and 17.12

there was a little rain overnight - but then we had a decent amount in the day, but not too hard - and the hail wasn't that bad - the wind we've got now could be the worst of it - albeit that it was the eight days of frost that did for my hydrangeas

I love the way clouds and sunlight do that thing on open hillsides.
We need a nice, steady rain here. We're in drought conditions.

@meotzi we hadn't had rain since 8th April - I think it was the right sort and was absorbed rather than ran off so we're a bit better off
