a new camera is in the offing. I've dropped this one frequently - and always got away with it. Then, with no direct trauma, it's stopped holding focus (mid to long zoom). I've got my eye on a shock-proof all-weather one next - just must check the weight of it.

Nice capture. Can't wait to hear more about this camera! I looked back through my 365 photos and noticed that mine are not quite as sharp as they were when I was first on 365 years ago. Must start using my newer camera and my husband's camera as he doesn't use it.

Nice capture, I'm afraid I will continue with my phone camera as I have plenty to carry already for Syd, that's my excuse anyway. 😀

@grannysue that's an interesting discovery. But yes, if you've bought a new camera perhaps it does need to be brought out.

@anniesue My newer camera is probably 3 years old, got it about the time I was unable to take photos, so it is basically new to me, but Canon has moved on to several newer editions since then. My husband has a Sony that he doesn't use.
