Sand Dune and Fence

This was also taken at the Jersey Shore over the weekend. We have a long history with the shore town that we visited; we've been going there for over 35 years. My husband introduced me to the Jersey Shore and now it's like a second home to me. This town was devastated, along with other nearby towns, by Hurricane Sandy which hit two years ago. There is still much work being done. These sand dunes are much higher than they used to be in an effort to provide more protection. We visited our beloved Jersey Shore about 1 1/2 years ago and the devastation was beyond description. It is heart-warming to see the shore coming back. I will look for some of the photos that I took last year and post one.

Love the textures and shapes here and the focus on the fence. Good to see that the area is recovering after the hurricane.
