@sharleen Thank you, Sharleen! Wow, I didn't even know that this one made the Trending Page--thank you for the alert! I'm so excited; a first for me! I'm not an ACE member so I guess that one doesn't get notified. Do ACE members get a notification? I got a new camera and I'm having a lot of fun learning to use it and it does more than the old camera. I'm sooo happy! YAY! (Note to self: Much switch to decaf!)
I don't know if ACE members get notification when they get on the Trending Page because I have never been on the TP. :-( I guess it's a choice, at least for me: follow more people and spend more time commenting and I would assume that more people would look at my photos and comment on mine. Right? Hmmm... maybe not. Perhaps my photos are just not all that interesting or great and I wouldn't get on the TP no matter what I do. I can't afford more time at the computer so..
In any event, I got into 365 to keep a journal and I'm doing my best although I do get behind and I do procrastinate. When I signed up, I thought that there was an option of having your monthly pages printed and you could buy a calendar at the end of the year. I did not read up thoroughly and I was/am disappointed in that area.
April, have a blast with your new camera! I've been looking at your November photos and each one is gorgeous. Unfortunately, things have been crazy here and I have not been uploading photos or commenting until today but hopefully I will return some time this week.
@sharleen Thank you for your response! I know what you mean, I don't "follow" too many photographers in order so that I can concentrate on just a few of my "favorites" and then I converse with only a few of the people that I do follow--just to keep it simple. But I look at all of the photos of the people that I follow--such a great way to learn. I never had a photo on the Trending until that one nor a photo on the pp so I was pretty shocked.
I really like the idea of the calendar; I've been wondering how to create a hard copy of my project. I have all of the photos saved on my hard drive but they are not in chronological order and they don't have my comments attached to them. I've been thinking of copying & pasting my photos along with the dates and comments in Word then somehow transferring it to Shutterfly. I haven't looked into it but I've seen books done in Shutterfly. All of this would be rather time consuming however, and, as you know, things get pretty busy.
I hope that the hectic time that you are experiencing slows up a bit! As for me, sometimes I think that I'm addicted to stress--ha ha. When things slow up for me, I find myself looking around and saying, "Now, what I'm I missing here." Yes, I'm having a blast learning about my new camera. Take care!
