When the last load of topsoil was delivered on Friday, it was a different driver and he was not as expert at getting the soil over the perimeter wall and into the correct place. When he had finished much the rockery was buried under soil. The small pond needed sorting out, but I had not planned to do it yet. However, I have spent three hours on it today and although it is not finished, it does look better.
Today’s picture is of a small wasp’s nest, which I noticed yesterday when I went into my small shed. While marking scripts, I had not been in there for several days. This is only a very small nest and will have to be removed, but I decided to photograph it today so that there is a record.
