Another hot and sunny day, but far too hot to sit outside in the garden or on the balcony, so I have been doing inside jobs today.
The Ocado lorry was early and he had gone by 0745 hours, bringing with it some smoked salmon and smoked trout; these were free although I am expected to review them. I often get small samples to try, but nothing as expensive as these would be; now I need a nice cold, sparkling, ‘White’ to go with them.
I have also been doing the end of month finances; a job I am not keen on, but these things have to be done. I finished my book last night and as we are now into another month I can choose a book, for July, from Amazon Prime’s Lending Library; these are free, but have to be returned before another one can be downloaded.
Today’s picture is a fully opened Poppy, complete with little bugs. This is the first time I have see this plant in this border, to me it is an unusual colour; I am sure that I did not plant it.
