I think that both of my grandchildren are coming to help in the garden this coming week so I decided that today I would have a lazy day doing not very much and certainly not any gardening.
It has been very hot all day, so a wise decision not to work outdoors. If it is too hot for gardening next week then Oliver and Victoria can help with some sorting out in the kitchen, mainly my cookery books, which will have to be moved when the kitchen is modernised.
Today’s picture is of Florence on the wall, she has been outside all day, unlike Dougal who now likes to sleep in the conservatory, which is where he has been for much of the day; like me they have both had a lazy day.
