You might think it strange that I should get excited about having two toilets, but this is the first time ever, that I have lived in a house with two toilets. The builder and plumber came today and the existing bathroom should have been completed, as far as the plumbing was concerned, this afternoon. However, they hit a snag with the shower fittings and so it will be either Tuesday or Wednesday before the bath and shower can be connected.
While they were here the kitchen and installation of the new boiler were discussed. I now have to empty the kitchen, with the help of my husband, so that work can start on that area. I can see light at the end of the tunnel, just!
These builders are not installing the new kitchen so I think we will see the back of them before too long. Once they get started and I know how long it will take, I can then rearrange to have the new kitchen delivered and installed, but because I have cancelled it twice and put it on indefinite ‘hold’ I have to give them six weeks notice. Will it be finished before Christmas? Your guess is as good as mine.
Today’s picture shows the top of the toilet in the shower room, or as it is more commonly called, ‘my’ bathroom, despite not having a bath in it.
