Hey Artsy Gang! I began the 100 day challenge on 13th Feb to support a pal who is doing it and have picked up my paintbrushes for the first time in a very long time.
Today I had a migraine, so once the painkillers had made the pain and nausea subside enough, I did my daily painting as a representation of how I was feeling. So this is a migraine. At least how it feels to me!
I cut out the lightning streaks, the black clouds are thick card stuck on and covered in black pepper, the black jagged marks are a permanent felt tipped pen and the colours are stippled watercolour spiked on with a mostly dry brush and then blended very slightly.
Totally out of my comfort zone painting at all still and especially after a long gap, but by the time I have painted something every day for 100 days, I may be getting the hang of it a bit better LOL
@casablanca FAV This is a fabulous illustration of what it must be like. I think for you to do it while you had a migraine is a sacrificial effort for sure.
Hope you recover soon!
100 paintings in 100 days is a huge commitment
