Todays shot is not a pretty one photowise… but I'm still posting it, because this is what I've spent time doing last night and this morning… making socks for those days when life sucks.
Our female Turkish Van cat, Sil, had surgery to her left hine leg last week, and now she's sporting a huge bandage/cast covering her whole hine leg. To keep it clean I sewed some knit fabric socks to cover the bandage (especially going to the toilet involved a risk of soiling it).
Apparently this is not something they have ever seen or heard of at the vet, so I decided to use up all my knit fabric remnants to make them some. Will donate them to the vet when we go in for a bandage change on Monday, hopefully they will find them useful.

Thank you so much for your lovely comment, Elizabeth, I really appreciate it. Regarding the little oval picture of Sil: I made it in Photoshop. I marked the part, that I wanted to copy/paste to the socks picture and used the feather tool to soften the edges :-) Thanks again :-)
