I took my "new" Helios 44-2 lens out to play this morning for the first time - the morning dew were still covering the grass making it a perfect Helios moment :-) ... And I think I'm in love with this lens... It was well worth waiting almost a whole month for it to arrive... The bokeh this baby creates is awesome.
I know I will use this lens a lot…. Amazing how much fun you can have with a 34 year old manual lens :-D
(In fact I love it so much that I have actually ordered another one... I want to try out one of the early Helios 44-2 lenses and managed to find a special edition Helios 44-2 which were made back in 1969/1970... I almost can't wait for it to arrive :-D - Please Mr. Postman - run faster!).
