First time I posted a picture of this street was on April 5th - and as I mentioned back then Hjelmerstald is the name of one of the oldest streets in Aalborg (the city I live in).
The street is shaped like a big L and this shot is taken from the opposite end of the street.
This street was founded back in 1600 and is situated right in the middle of Aalborg city - it's surrounded by all the usual city life with shops and office buildings on all four sides... On this street though it's almost like if time stands still... The houses here are all around 2-300 years old but all been renovated and people are still living here.
I like to take walk down this small street... is like getting a breath of fresh air and an opportunity to take a short break from the rush of the city.
