Tair-3A

I couldn't resist adding this shot to my 365-project… This is the lens I received yesterday - my new vintage toy.
It's a Russian Tair-3 from 1970 - and it's a giant!.
It weighs 1525 grams and fully extended it measures around 40 cm … and it looks almost ridiculous when mounted on my mirrorless Olympus OM-D E-M5 camera... I think I need a new camera bag…

Gear used: Olympus OM-D E-M5 + M42 to micro 4/3 Adapter + Meyer Görlitz Lydith f3.5/30mm.
a professional looking instrument, you will take some lovely photo's with it.

@pistache - With this giant lens mounted I can't carry the camera around in the straps - I have to carry it by the lens itself or else the mount on my camera will suffer, I'm afraid... I don't think the mount can stand up to the unsupported weight of the lens...

@graemestevens Thank you Graeme... Yesterdays shot was one of the first ones I took, and I must say that I really like it... it's a heavy monster though, and using it hand held can be a bit of a challenge... I prefer this kind of work out for my biceps though - this is much more fun than going to the gym :-D...
