Shadow bed of roses by atchoo

Shadow bed of roses

At the East side of our house we have a bed of roses, and some of them are "Ingrid Bergman" roses (my all time favorite garden rose).
When fully in bloom these roses are almost palm sized and of a gorgeously rich blood red colour - very beautiful.
Since roses generally thrive in the sun, the East side of our house is probably not the ideal spot to grow roses, since this part of our garden lay in shadow from around noon, but so far it seems like they are doing fine, and the rose buds are once again growing large and beautiful.

This shot is probably best viewed on black.

Here's a few more shots of our Ingrid Bergmans: https://365project.org/tags/ingrid%20bergman%20rose
