Once again I'm taking a detour on my way home from work - today it brings me to the Northern part of the coastline of Limfjorden ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limfjord ) with af full view of some of the wind turbines placed here.
Wind turbines is a common sight here, since Denmark plays a leading role in developing commercial wind power as well as in manufacturing wind turbines. In fact in 2017 the wind turbines in Denmark delivered power equivalent to 43.6 percent of Denmark’s electricity consumption that same year, which was a huge milestone in the transition of making the energy supply system more carbon neutral.
