I've always liked the look of the physalis berries - they are almost mystical as they sit there by them selves... barely visible, only a hint of their round shape is seen through the veiny walls of their large, papery husk... there's just something about looking at these berries that sparks my imagination...
A few years back it would have been unheard of for me to buy some to eat as a snack, since I thought they tasted awful, but luckily the perception of taste can change as you grow older, and now I like their sweet and sour taste - I'm actually contemplating growing some in our green house when spring arrives...

Great picture. I like the white background and the thin black frame. Btw, they are quite easy to grow, no care required once the plant is in the ground.
