My Get-Pushed-141 Challenge from Kristin @kph129 - Overexposed

Hope you like this one Kristin, had a great day out at Peckforton and Beeston Castles. Noticed this fantastic Peacock strutting about - I spot metered on a dark shadow to create the overexposure, brought the colour and detail back in PS

Wow Adrian! This is stunning! I "cut things out" a lot, but if you managed to truly overexpose this, it's fabulous! You definitely met the get-pushed challenge!

Those peacock blues are still intense in an overexposed image! You've still got great detail in his features and feathers.

@Weezilou Many thanks for your great feedback - I think the technique I used is 'expose to the right', by metering on a shadow then taking the shot in bright sunlight it blew the histogram to the right. Using curves in PS raw was amazed at how much detail was there.
