I have been a photographer for most of my life, learning from my father when I was a teenager. I started shooting film (I started early!) but fell madly in love with digital. My career in photography has been greatly rewarded, and I love that it is a field of expertise that I can still learn something new every day. I'm anxious to see how I feel after a year of recording images for ME.

I think Ralph Waldo Emerson said it best: "To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded."
