Kingfisher - 27-9

This kingfisher flies up and down the river outside the office so I stuck a stick in the bank and he/she perched on it today. This is shot from the window which is a little bit too far for my lense.

What a great capture do not put yourself down this is a lovely shot My only encounter was some years ago across the other side of the river and all I got was a small blob of blue as it darted to & fro !!
