@happypat I have a Olympus 70-300 lens that I like to use for these shots but the woodpecker I took yesterday was with my Sony compact zoom. I think that's what Harry has? It has a 20 times zoom and takes some great shots for its size.

@barrowlane yes Harry has one of those....great zoom on it..better than my Olympus compact...I need to buy a bigger lens but expensive! Annoying when his was cheaper than mine!

Very well shot. However, I think you'll find this is a coal tit - the distinguishing feature is the white on the back of the neck. The eye contact is fantastic. Well done :)
