My mini LED light panel fell off a table and it's mount broke off. I have access to a 3D printer, so I decided to try my hand at making a frame for the light.
The light used to slot into a hot shoe, so I had it on a hot shoe to threaded tripod adapter, and put that on a threaded to quick release plate adapter. I decided to skip all the adapters and model a quick release base right onto the bottom of my new part.
This is the first part I've designed from scratch. I won't know how well I've done until it's printed and fits real world parts.
