Behind the scenes, through a fish eye lens

Yesterday, I had visions of taking my Rokinon 8mm fish eye lens (featured in yesterday's photo) out to the local park for some photos, but 90 degree temperatures and a chance of rain kept me home. So I decided to use the wide angle to show my setup for yesterday's photo.

If you can't quite tell what's going on in my basement studio/workshop, I've got a white backdrop that pulls down from the ceiling, and a square of white acrylic on top of the table.

A Yongnuo hot shoe flash on a remote trigger, behind an umbrella, provided the main light for my "Actors".

On the right side of the table, a cheap slave flash on a home made table top light stand lights up the backdrop.

It's a simple setup that produces photos of things on a white background that need almost no adjustment in Lightroom/Photoshop.

Simple set-up but very effective.
