one year ago tomorrow we will celebrate the arrival of our charley to the family. we were still grieving the loss of our milton--our boys were sad, we were sad, even ginger was sad. so we were praying about whether it was a good time to get a new dog, and as i was driving i saw this license tag (top left). the eldest found our pup online, the hubs and i picked him up while the boys were at school, and we surprised them when they got home! sweet charley has brought us nothing but joy ever since! (we think the feeling is mutual--we catch him smiling like the bottom left pic all the time!) (:
oh my goodness, it was definitely a sign. i'm in love with him! I know what you mean...it was heartbreaking to lose my family's golden retriever 4 years ago and we still think of her often. Her name was Glory and while driving home to see her one last time, I saw a billboard that had GLORY written out in big letters (apparently it's a canned vegetable brand?). I'd never seen one of those before. Timing's everything. :) Happy anniversary to you and Charley!
OMG Brett he is so unbelievably stinky cute. I want t ohug him. WHat a cute puppy he was. Love that sign from God on the plate. Isn't it amazing how much our dogs add to our life and become and integral part of our family.
By the way, I have been slacking off on commenting on 365 a bit with only 1 week left of my project. Feeling burned out.
Thanks for the encouragement but I need a break from my camera big time, I may return. Need to focus on some other hobbies for a little while, like house projects.
And I love the rego plate (sorry licence tag) hint from the big guy upstairs!
