my hubby and son are avid cyclists, and here they are out for an evening ride with a few buddies. they ride fairly long distances on mostly rural roads, and it makes me a little nervous sometimes. especially since two cyclists were killed last saturday and sunday quite close to where they regularly ride. so please, share the road!
I know what you mean. A friend of mine used to ride faithfully, but he finally gave it up due to so many hazards on the road. People do not watch out for cyclists. the same with motorcycles.
Well hello there sister! Isn't it funny how we discover things about one another and find those things in common on 365. It's a small world. I noticed you went to Oklahoma State, I was a Kappa at UMass, Amherst. So sweet to imagine the Sigma Chi's singing to you on your wedding day. Another Kappa that I have dicovered on 365 is Louise, her picture was in the last issue of the Key and I recognized her. I joined 365 with several of my fellow UMass alums and we all follow one another. I enjoy your photos, keep up the good shooting.
Funny you say you are partial to pics of Casey, I find that photos of her seem to get the most attention. She is so easy to photograph, she is quite photogenic and cooperative.
Re; Comment-No, a couple of bruises and fractures. This was awhile back when I lived in CA. I used to have to bike at 9PM to go to work the graveyard shift (lab technician) and all the drunk people would be out and about in that particular neighborhood. I was "hit and run(ned)" twice, had beer bottles thrown at me, my butt slapped at 30 miles an hour, you name it. It's how my hubby and I met--he worked at the same laboratory and started driving me home after he realized what I was biking through. (:
Nice shot of the guys doing what they enjoy! I used to ride a fair amount but not so much anymore. The last big ride was 600 miles over a week from Minneapolis/St.Paul back to Chicago. That was several years back!
My mom just mentioned that we're all Kappas! Too fun :)
