i love this shot of my sweet neice and her fiance from their engagement party this weekend. it totally captures what a fun, happy couple they are! they are perfect for each other, and as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. i have no doubt that their upcoming wedding and marriage will bring honor to God and bless everyone they come in contact with. i love them to pieces!!
adorable! i know i'm getting old because my first thought (after how cute they are - ok 2nd thought) was, are they old enough to get married?? fabulous photo capturing their joy!
Brett - I have not used the 200-400mm f/4 for sports. For wildlife, I am a little limited by the D300 perfomance with the f/4 lens. There are times I need faster iso so I can stop down the aperture and keep the shutter speed high (like you would for sports). An f/2.8 lens, like the 400mm, may be better (or best). I like my 200-400 because it allows me to change focal length without changing lens so it is a trade off. Ideal set-up, D3x with a 400mm f/2.8 and a 1.4 teleconverter. Of course the 400mm f/2.8 is $9,000 and the 200-400 f/4 is "only" $7,000. So again a trade-off. The new 70-200 VRII and the 2.0 converter are supposedly a good choice too. Let me know what you think.
