the REAL football season has now started--this evening marked the opening of the jr high crusader season. my oldest plays strong-side linebacker on defense and tailback on offense, and in this shot he is running the ball in for a 2-point conversion. although the game ended in an 8-8 tie, the whole team did awesome. i'm not sure who had a better time--him playing or us watching!
...and this is better than my shot I got of this play. You could barely see him in my shot. Did you get a new lens or something?!! Fantastic capture!! We had a blast at thegame. Yes, I think G has made her decision!!
Great shot, although what you wrote is all Chinese to me, I know nothing about football. Im hoping that Avery is a couch potato, so that I dont have to learn. lol
Whoo! I love that you're so supportive of your boys (: Great photo, Brett.
Re: novel--I have one Young Adult novel on Amazon and BarnesandNoble.com and am working to finish this other one (for grown-ups!) It is exciting--more so when I hear somebody likes it! (:
This is a great action shot Brett, I can't pretend to understand the rules, I'm a Football (you call it soccer) and a golf player, biut it looks fun.
Thanks for your comment, I didn't use a fish eye, but put the camera in to landscape setting
What a wonderful capture of the action, and all the better that it's the Young Mr Currie! This has to be a favorite time of year in Texas when the football season begins, and how great to have your son involved, too! Thanks for your thoughtful note that puts everything into perspective! While I hate counting down this one set of days that brings summer to a close, I do, indeed, certainly have A LOT to look forward to! I'm not in the least ungrateful for the marvelous string of days we've just had go by, and the upcoming days are a gift to open, one day at a time! I won't even presume to know what's in store! Just hoping I can record it all well on my camera!
