I stepped inside a new sculpture that they have erected at the Kangaroo Point Cliffs in Brisbane. Looks unique from the outside but I loved the inside and how the light came in through the top.
Thanks everyone for your generous comments and favs over the past couple of days. Been in Brisbane Central a lot over the past few days and back in there tomorrow. Very thankful that you have given up your time to view and comment.
This remindes me of one of those old cotton and nail art work thingies... where you make designs and pictures with colour cotton and nails that have been nailed into a black piece of board... awesome lines
@sparkle Juliette, it has a light going right up the middle of it and I am sure it would look grander at night. But there were storm in Brisbane last night and I grab that shot whilst I could stay dry. I will post the outside at a later date when we finally get some good weather here.
@joannebradbury In Brisbane we don't always have a reason. There is no plates, placards or the like giving any artist any credit or what it is meant to represent. Suppose we can all interpret the way we want too.
Nice POV, Brian. I was going to ask about the outside also, but you've answered that lol. I've not seen it yet, so am eagerly waiting to see your shot of it :)
HEY! It's the Rising of Venus! Fantastic photo of it. My dear friend works for Woollam Construction. The Artist is Wolfgang Buttress. Here is a video that my friend posted from her fb page before it went up for Australia Day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNZaztmPDF0
