I need to firstly thank Ross @scrivna, who without all his efforts this would not be the experience that it has been. Well done Ross, an amazing concept and it has been very appreciated.
Secondly, I would like to thank every person I have come in contact with over this project. It has been a great experience and the success of this site is that people, regardless of gender, race, age or photographic ability all come together and share their interpretation of the world through their lens. Bravo to you all.
Thirdly, I have had one regret and that is that I have only highlighted 1700 odd fav's myself. I am blown away by the talent of a lot of people on this site and there is a wealth of creativity and talent that we all can learn from. I know there is many more great shots that I have missed and that annoys me somewhat.
Would I recommend this to other people to do. Heck yes!! It just opens your eyes to what is around you and what is so ordinary and can be transformed.
I'm off to Japan in a few days and I am looking forward to all the opportunities that will unfold. I will be coming back in a limited capacity till the start of next year and then I want to do a full calendar year. Thank you for sharing with me over the past year.

Brian Brian Brian, i watch this and i have tears streaming, what an amazing amazing man you are not only with a camera but the good things you do for the world..We started only days apart so followed right from the very beginning and i feel very emotional right now and a little choked up as my journey also comes to a close...I remember when i went to China and said i would not be posting for 5 weeks, i came home and found a comment where you had popped by on an older photo just to say my 5 weeks was nearly up and i must be home soon... that touched me that you would notice i was missing and went looking for me.....I only wish good things for you and your endeavours and will look forward to seeing Japan through your eyes and lense.... Wow, what an incredible video of your photos, Brian. I tried to keep up with so many, maybe too many on 365, including you but failed to comment very much at all on your photos. I always want to write maybe too much and miss others that I decided to follow because of it. What a great way to share your photos along with music in 7 minutes. For that I am grateful. What an impressive year you had. Such a variety of photos also. I am very limited since I do not drive to take photos of what I want to or the time of day I would like to take them but grateful for what I can take photos of. Best of luck in Japan.
