... and it was. A lovely Roe deer resting in the marks in the crop left by the tractor a few days ago. We slowly moved back along the path until I got this clear view of her and thankfully the crop is high enough that she didn't catch sight of Maeve the Deerhound (and vice versa!). She looked at me and I took a few shots, then we slowly moved off and left her to enjoy her quiet spot :-)
Fav for me. One of those shots when carrying your camera all the time becomes very whorthwhike indeed. And you pulled it off magnificently - beautiful focus and composition. Glad that Maeve didn't notice or there would have been quite a few more tracks!
