My Mayapples are blooming. This is a cool native plant but you can't see the flowers unless you look below the leaves. I ended up laying on the ground in my woodland garden and then all I could think about was Deer ticks. Needless to say - I jumped in the shower right away.

Beautiful blossom and I'm glad you did it the hard way. Cutting a flower just to get a picture isn't the way :)
