Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year. We gather at my sister's house - there were 14 of us this year - and everyone pitches in to put on a fantastic feast. I am especially grateful that my 95 year old Mom was well enough to be with us for another gathering of the family and friends.
From the shots and captions I've seen for Thanksgiving on 365 it seems that it is an occasion that is taken seriously still. It's a fine tradition. I wish we had a Thanksgiving Day.
