In the early 1940s, this was my dad’s high school. And in the 70s I went to 6th and 7th grade here. Nowadays it’s an apartment building and I would love to take a tour of it sometime. I can vividly remember what it looked like inside. I wonder if they left any of the original features, like the wood floors and staircases or if it was all gutted when they put the apartments in.
People can keep features if they try - have just been looking at someone's design to convert a chapel into a house and keeping lots of architectural details - but apartments are a different kettle of fish
