One of the reasons Joe and Peggy planned this trip was to visit some places where their ancestors were from. Joe knew there was a family gravesite in this cemetery and after some searching he found it. It was completely overtaken with vines and shrubs and took quite a while to uncover it. His 3x great grandfather and two of his children died in the Famine. His great great grandfather survived the Famine and eventually emigrated to America.
That's awesome that you were able to find it! I've been doing a lot of Ancestry, it is really something to be able to connect with ancestors you didn't even know you had.
