Every so often when I don't have a photo and it's a nice day, I get this strange hope that there will be a lovely sunset, I set off along the canal to find a spot to try and capture it.
It never works. But this is better than some of the others :)
Oh I know that feeling! I find myself walking miles to try and capture the shot in my head. I always give up, which is why I said to @chewyteeth only today, I don't hAve the patience for stunning landscape photography. I see it as a combination of luck, money and consequently time which I don't really posses in any great amount!
This is lovely though, reminds me of 6week summer holidays as a child and late evenings and the smell of warm countryside! Lovely.
I think it worked quite well - the water line of the canal is unusual, and I like how the clouds seem to parallel the lines of what's on the ground. Pretty cool.
uhm... if that's not a sunset, what is??? i think this is wonderful! the variation in colour in the sky is beautiful, and the light's reflection in the water is nothing short of spectacular... i actually think that the subtlety of it makes for a better sunset shot than average...
