@bobfoto Got it. Just googled for images. I guess it makes sense but I've never seen the flowers. I love to cook but have NO green thumb so my experience is pretty limited to finished edible products. :)
@callalilla - Chives can be grown in a pot, a trip to the local nursery or hardware store to buy a pack of seed, and some good quality potting mix, a pot, and you're away!
And the cool things with chives is you can collect your own seed or keeping cutting the plant down to the ground and using in your kitchen! It will keep on re-shooting! Always a good one to start with.
@bobfoto You may be vastly overestimating my growing abilities! I have killed orchids in a week flat, I tried an herb garden but the cilantro choked everything else out, tried tomatoes from seed but got nothing past tiny sprouts... I think I have ADD for gardening. :)
@callalilla - :) That's pretty funny Kimberly, next time give your Cilantro (we like to call it Coriander) some more space, buy your tomatoes as seedlings (preferably grafted) and anyone can kill an orchid, they can be quite delicate!

I love the pastel shade of green!! The colors and textures blend to make this an amazing composition! Keep Posting!
