Hawk (Swamp Harrier)

I think this is the first time one of these guys has stayed in the tree while I've taken a shot. They usually fly off as soon as I pull up! He was nice enough to look my way :)

@jenrobcarr Thanks Jenn! We have lots of these guys here, I was out gardening today and looked up, there was about thirty circling above me. I went for the camera but of course they had moved on by the time I came back. I'm not great with bird names and my husband tends to call them weird and wonderful names that are nothing like their real name, lol.

Awesome!!!!! And he had such nice lighting on him too :) I always have a hard time getting shots of hawks too becaus ether fly away so quickly!! You did great!
