I think I almost prefer this is black and white as it emphasizes how dramatic it was. We had the most amazing storm last night, lost power and so I stayed on the deck photographing the lightning which I will post tomorrow.
I have a new computer with Windows 8.1 and I nearly sent it back the very next day! I absolutely hated it but I've now made it look and work much like my old one so I think I can live with it now. The good thing is that I was able to load Lightroom 5 which I've had for some time but couldn't use on Vista. I didn't think there would be much difference to LR3 that I was using but I have to say I love the improvements that have been made since then.
Wow this is so dramatic. I had a new computer tower put together and insisted on Windows 7 be put on it. I know so many people who have had trouble with Windows 8.1. That is on our photo club's computer and David was tearing out his last bit of hair setting it up.
This looks so dramatic. I hope you are ok with Windows 8.1. My Mum struggled with it for a long time. Apparently Windows 10 is coming out later this year.
I know how you feel! The interface of windows 8 is horrible!! but I'm used to it by now, but still have trouble finding things that were normally under the start button! This is a gorgeous shot!! love how the b&w makes it look so powerful!!
@888rachel Thanks Rachel, I'm just about okay with Windows 8 now. I don't care for the app screen much so don't bother using it. I suppose like all new things it just takes a while to get used to.
I'm learning LR5 right now and love it.
