More practice for an upcoming shoot. I was happy with the lighting but my posing can sure do with some work. Oh and the focus is off too!
I went to the Anzac Day march today but my OCD wouldn't let me post it today, it will have to be tomorrow's shot just to keep my calendar neat :)
Hope you all have a lovely weekend.
Big eyes, great blue! Perhaps a little off in the focus, but the sharpening (on a jpeg or in a post-editor) seemed to clean it up quite well. Couldn't see the aperture you used, but anything below f/2 this close will always be a delicate balancing act. Another technique is to use a longer focal length, 100mm or longer even on a cropped sensor body and step back a little. It will give you more room for the DoF, and it will force your aperture narrower too. f/4 at 100mm works nicely for me for portraits on my D7100.
