We climbed the 674 or so steps to the second level of the Eiffel Tower, worth the climb and shorter wait than the two hours last time we went up. Seems people are working hard to replace all the locks that were removed from this bridge.
Can you imagine what it looks like under water with all the keys that have been tossed off the bridge?! I read the weight of the locks is now causing structural problems on some of the bridges...
@lyndemc yes, they have removed a lot from This bridge but as fast as they remove them there are more put on. We saw a few keys thrown in while we sat there.
These locks are everywhere aren't they. I took some pictures of some in China and NZ and noticed some here inSpain the other day. Must gets shot. Obviously enjoying your holiday!
