Skogagoss waterfall by bella_ss

Skogagoss waterfall

With the midnight sun and the cabin we stayed in not having dark curtains, we were up at 4am, on the road at 5 and hitting the sights before anyone else. We had these falls all to ourselves, although there were people sleeping in tents around us. I don't know how they do it, I love the comfort of a heated room at the end of the day.
Stunning image Sheralee. I hope to visit Iceland one day but will live vicariously through your images and another 365er who resides in Iceland until then. Looking forward to many more pics :))

A wonderful shot of this huge waterfall. I'm with you on that warm room at the end of the day!

Absolutely stunning shot. I'm with you too with the warm room. Did camping in my younger days, but the bones are too creaky these days. I definitely need comfort.
June 2nd, 2015
wonderful shot - I prefer a warm room and bed too - but us crazy photographers sacrifice so much for that perfect shot!
June 2nd, 2015
GREAT SH♥T fav:)
June 2nd, 2015
Lovely shot! I prefer a warm bed too, although I did enjoy tent camping when my boys were little.
June 2nd, 2015
Short nights there. I'm going to be tenting it a couple of nights in Alaska in a couple of weeks. Hoping for good weather.
June 2nd, 2015
Oh, wow. What a view! I am voting for a warm room, though.
June 2nd, 2015
@mcrt you're braver than me, I do admire anyone that can do it though :)

I am up most mornings at 4 a.m. Lovely capture.
June 2nd, 2015
Beautiful shot. Lucky you.
June 2nd, 2015
Great scene, love the spray.
June 2nd, 2015
@bella_ss It has nothing to do with being brave, but being cheap. Where I am going there is a "rustic" lodge. Cost for a room for 1-4 people is $652/night. The campground is $12/night. I'm stay two nights.

June 2nd, 2015
@mcrt haha, I completely get that! Some of our nights here are a bit over the top too. I love it when you can see amazing sights for next to nothing. I guess you just need the right gear and you're set :)

Love the veil like falls!
June 3rd, 2015
Beautiful falls! Are you driving on your own?
June 3rd, 2015
@bella_ss Fortunately it is fly in, not hike in so I can carry a big tent and a blow up mattress. And nice thick comfy blankets. Life is good.
June 3rd, 2015
@mcrt life is very good :D
June 3rd, 2015
@redy4et yes, just David and me, it was a bit tricky for him at first to drive on the opposite side of the road but it's so good to please ourselves as opposed to a tour.
June 3rd, 2015
@jyokota had I realised there was so much to see we probably would have taken it a bit slower but I guess you can never really see it all.
June 3rd, 2015
@bella_ss time to start planning a trip back!
June 3rd, 2015
@jyokota I think so :)
