The Paris Open by bella_ss

The Paris Open

We were in Paris while the tennis was on and that's why there is a giant tennis ball hanging on the Eiffel Tower. We climbed the stairs up to the second level viewing platform. It was quite an effort to get there but at least we could take the lift down.

We've been home for over a week and things have probably settled down enough to start posting again. I hope to catch up with you all, thanks for commenting while I was away.
Sam

Great shot! Lets hope the EU doesn't make it illegal to share photos of (copyrighted) monuments like the Eiffeltower on the internet illegal.

This is an amazing shot -- just walking along the street and there's the iconic Eiffel Tower, just there. WOW! Welcome home -- looking forward to your photos from the trip. And thanks for the catch on my 6 word story title. That was embarrassing!

Wonderful capture of this iconic tower of Paris. We went straight up to the top (by lift, of course) when we visited Paris years ago. The 360degree view from up there is breathtaking.

It always a thrill to see an image of this iconic structure.

Wonderful shot of the tower and gardens! Last time I was in Paris I climbed to the top in 3- inch heels. They kept getting caught in the mesh flooring so finally I just took them off and went up barefoot. The view was worth it.
