Uluru/Ayers Rock and the Field of Light

We travelled to the Red Centre to see this installation while it is still there. It was to end in March this year but has now been extended for one more year. It was quite a sight to see and very pretty. The field has over 50,000 lights of different colours.

@skstein No Sandy, they have paths to walk all through the lights, it's quite lovely to see up close. I'm posting a photo of close up today.

I should have looked at this shot first, shouldn't I? We were really disappointed we didn't get to do our 3 month stint in Alice last year and am hoping to go this year. Depends on Rhoda's health issues. We love it out there.
