It's hard to get a size perspective without a car but at the base of the wall on the very edge is the road we drove over to get to this side. When the water is flowing over the dam the road is closed.

@pcoulson Yes, all treated Peter. Our local water comes from this river but at a weir further upstream. Although we have been known to have brown water from the tap many years ago.
