Merry met one of T's sisters today and soon my brother and sister-in-law will be home from Maine to meet her as well. She's very friendly and rubs and nuzzles new folks she meets.
It's amazing how Abyssinians are with human food, appetites pretty much like dogs, but with the ability to jump onto counters and into refrigerators. She's tried apples, tolerates a bit of banana, but a bowlful of turkey would be ever so much nicer than that fruit bowl.

Perfect caption! Though my son’s cat doesn’t have any interest in eating meat. She looks interested, but will just sniff it and turn away. Go figure! Have a nice visit.
Two thinks she should half of any meal I eat. I have to keep her food in the refrigerator because she has figured out how to open every cabinet. If she figures out how to open the refrigerator I am sunk. I can not leave food in a bowl for her to eat as she wants because she will eat herself sick. So you have my complete sympathy. BUt they are so adorable when they do it.
